The Hammers have made their second transfer of the season in Pablo Barrera from UNAM
London club West Ham United have increased their attacking options by signing Pablo Edson Barrera Acosta from Club Universidad Nacional. The Mexican International becomes West Ham’s second transfer of the 2010-11 season, after Frederic Piquionne from French club Lyon.
The transfer fee for Pablo Barrera is estimated to be around the £4million mark. The 23-year-old attacking mid-fielder is the only South-American in the West Ham squad. Pablo Barrera made a total of 90 appearances and scored 21 goals for Mexican club UNAM and was featured in the World Cup against France in South Africa.
