The Documentary on Brian Clough is called “Brian Clough: The Greatest Manager England Never Had”
Brian Howard Clough is an English striker who had made just two appearances for the England national team but is better remembered for his managerial career in Derby County and Nottingham Forest.
The BBC’s documentary “Brian Clough: The Greatest Manager England Never Had” speaks about a memorable career during his prudent days with Derby County and the 1979, 1980 European Cup victories with Nottingham Forest.
The documentary also speaks about the 44-day tenure as the manager of Leeds United, following the departure of Don Revie .
Brian Clough comments on the England selectors:
"I’m sure the England selectors thought if they took me on and gave me the job, I’d want to run the show. They were shrewd because that’s exactly what I would have done"
