Former England U21 International Titus Bramble has completed his transfer from Wigan Athletic to Sunderland

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce will be re-united his former player Titus Bramble for the second time in his managerial career. During Bruce’s tenure at Wigan Athletic, Titus Bramble was picked on a regular basis at the DW Stadium.

A transfer fee of £1million was agreed by the two clubs and Bramble becomes the third major signing of the black cats as he signed a three-year contract.

Titus Bramble was from the Ipswich Town youth academy and after two years playing for the reserves he got his first break for the senior side.

He made his debut during the 1998-99 season and made 48 appearances for the Tractor Boys. In 1999 Bramble was loaned to Colchester United, where he made just two appearances for the Us.

In 2002, Sir Bobby Robson signed Titus Bramble for a massive £6 million but failed to please the Newcastle United fans. After five agonizing years St. James' Park, he signed for Wigan Athletic.
